It is chiefly companies in the pharmaceutical and food industry as well as manufacturers of medical products that require comprehensive documentation about the plant and measuring techniques used in the manufacture of products that are destined for the north American market.
This is required by the FDA Authority (Food and Drug Administration), which is responsible for the approval of medicaments and foodstuffs.

The basic idea is to document the requirements and their achievement in order to ensure the quality of the products; this process starts with planning, continues with the acquisition and then further with the installation and operation of the corresponding units.

KRÜSS offers support in the generation of parts of this documentation and in carrying out the checks on the instruments that this involves.

The IQ (Installation Qualification) is important for the installation.

The subsequent validation of the instrument and software is ensured by the OQ (Operation Qualification). This can be carried out shortly after the installation.

For regularly ensuring the accuracy and proper functioning of the instruments checks on the PQ (Performance Qualification) are carried out.
