The Mayor
of Hamburg, Mr. von Beust visited us on December 8, 2003 to personally
congratulate us on the award TOP100 medium-sized company in Germany 2003.

With excitement everybody at Krüss was looking forward to his visit. Also representatives from the media did not miss the chance and were present. We started by briefing the Mayor about vision, strategy and key success factors of our company. On the tour through development, manufacturing and application our Mayor had a chat with the people in the different departments and learned how we at Krüss rapidly and consistently create innovative solutions to our customers' challenges.
It was a big
event for everybody present and a confirmation of our untiring efforts
to keep being the best possible partner of our customers when they face
their manifold tasks and applications in the field of surface chemistry.

Within our strategic cooperation with a highly specialized company we have designed a new service offering for you, our customers.
Starting now, we offer together computer-based modeling methods which enable you to gain a deeper understanding of the chemical processes and of the properties of the chemical systems you are using or which is under your developing process. Among others those methods are Quantitative Structure Property Relationships (QSPR/QSAR), Mesoscopic procedures and Quantum Chemistry methods.
To do that computer clusters with high performance processors are used which otherwise you will only find in some major research institutes.
With these powerful methods we expand and complement our service offerings of application development, lab measurements and scientific education and technical training in the field of surface chemistry by enabling you to look at the molecular level of your systems. From there you collect valuable information for research of new and optimal chemical systems.
