DSA10HT
The high temperature contact angle measuring system
How
is it possible to measure the contact angle of substances whose
liquid drops are brighter than their surroundings? How can the contact
angles of glasses, metals and alloys be measured at temperatures
far in excess of 1000°C, if necessary under an inert gas atmosphere?
The KRÜSS High Temperature
Contact Angle Measuring Instrument DSA10HT can carry out such measurements
up to 1900°C.
The image analyzing system
of the DSA10HT is characterized by its outstanding image quality
under extreme conditions. The heating unit operates in an almost
oxygen-free atmosphere. This is achieved by separating the heating
element chamber from the working chamber. In addition, work can
be carried out under an inert gas or in vacuum atmosphere. A large
constant temperature range makes sample handling easier, particularly
in combination with the comfortable filling mechanism.
Because of its
modular construction, the high temperature contact angle measuring
system can be supplied for various temperature ranges, sample sizes
and gas atmospheres.
